SMART STEAM LAB @ROSEL FANN

The fully immersive SMART STEAM LAB at Rosel Fann Recreation Center, sponsored by Councilman Antonio Lewis (District 12), is an innovative, intergenerational learning hub where youth, families, and older adults explore emerging technologies, creative arts, and future-ready skills through immersive, hands-on experiences. The center features cutting-edge learning environments for robotics and automation (including Sphero robotics and a Unitree quadruped robot), virtual reality, drones, hydroponics and aquatics, artificial intelligence, coding, 3D design and printing, digital fabrication, anatomy and physiology, engineering, music production, photography, videography, podcasting, book binding, custom t-shirt and merchandise design, pottery with a professional kiln, painting, and collaborative digital media creation. Every experience is rooted in real-world application, project-based learning, the Engineering Design Process, self-management, and workforce readiness, equipping participants with the critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills needed to thrive in school, careers, and life. Through innovation, exploration, and meaningful community partnerships, the SMART Teen STEAM Center expands access to transformative learning experiences while inspiring learners of all ages to become confident creators, problem-solvers, and lifelong innovators.

Innovation Studios:

  • 🌱 Hydroponics & Urban Agriculture – Explore sustainable food systems using the Gardyn™ hydroponic growing system while learning about plant biology, environmental science, and food security.

  • ✈️ Drones & Flight Engineering – Investigate aerodynamics, electricity, circuits, and the physics of flight through drone piloting, engineering challenges, and launch activities.

  • 🎨 Engineering Design & Digital Fabrication – Design and prototype innovative solutions using 3D design software, Scrib3D pens, and custom apparel printing technologies.

  • 🤖 Robotics & Automation – Program and operate Sphero robots, robotic arms, autonomous rovers, and quadruped robots while exploring robotics, artificial intelligence, sensors, and automation.

  • 🎵 Music Production & Audio Engineering – Learn how music, rhythm, mathematics, and technology intersect through digital beat production, sound engineering, and audio creation.

  • 🎬 Digital Storytelling & Content Creation – Produce photography, videography, AI-assisted artwork, podcasts, and multimedia projects that communicate ideas and inspire positive change.

  • 🧠 Human Systems & Biomedical Innovation – Explore anatomy, body systems, virtual reality, and biomedical engineering while discovering how nature inspires life-changing medical technologies.

THANKSGIVING LOVE-GIFT MEALS + ds gIFT OF LIGHT!

#FeedFamiliesWithDS

For the past decade, #FeedFamiliesWithDS has brought neighbors together through the simple yet powerful act of sharing a Thanksgiving meal. Now celebrating our 10th Annual Thanksgiving Give-Back, this signature Dunamis SPARKE initiative helps ensure families can gather around a warm holiday meal while receiving support that brings hope, dignity, and stability during the holiday season. Last year, we served 107 families and, through our inaugural Gift of Light partnership with Georgia Power, expanded our impact by providing utility assistance to help families keep the lights on. This year, our goal is to serve 200 families, continuing a tradition of generosity, partnership, and community care that changes lives one family at a time.

DS Labs International – Lagos, Nigeria

DS Labs International extends Dunamis SPARKE's mission beyond U.S. borders by expanding access to high-quality STEAM education and digital opportunity for communities around the world.

Our first international initiative, located in Lagos, Nigeria, established an innovative technology learning center that equips students and community members with the tools, connectivity, and hands-on experiences needed to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

Working alongside local school leaders and community partners, DS Labs extended our collaboration with Georgia Power to connect an entire community to the rest of the world! Through sponsorship of the school’s Technology Lab, STEAM program, and critical infrastructure enhancements—including sponsorship of solar power and high-speed internet connectivity—to help bridge the digital divide and create sustainable learning environments. Students gain exposure to coding, robotics, artificial intelligence, engineering, digital literacy, agricultural sciences, entrepreneurship, and other future-ready skills while developing creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and confidence.

More than a technology lab, DS Labs @Diamondsville School and Creche’ is a long-term investment in technology access, workforce development, and global collaboration. By connecting students to modern learning tools and opportunities, we are empowering the next generation of innovators, leaders, and problem-solvers who will help shape the future of their communities and the world.
